Mission
To collaborate, train, and advocate for the applied use of unmanned aviation technology in the Alabama Public Safety sector. The ALPSDA will serve as a resource for response, training, outreach, innovation, and research in Alabama. The ALPSDA will be guided by all rules of law, including federal and state regulations for the safe operations of all unmanned aviation technology.
Response
Response support for public safety agencies, if requested.
Training
Assist with training for UAS teams and schedule courses through our training partner.
Innovation
Continuously promote the most up-to-date technology available and improve response capabilities.
Outreach
Promote UAS technology throughout the state and assist agencies with public relations.
